Environments, interiors and furniture
Working in the environments discipline means exhibit design, interiors for workplace, retail and residential, and in Stefan's case around 8 years designing furniture.
His work has won many awards from exhibit design in the 1980's, to design competitions for furniture such as Herman Miller in 1990, Steelcase in 1992 and awards like Artists&Industry in 1990 and 1992.
His furniture won selection for showcase exhibitions in Paris, Los Angeles, Seoul and Tokyo. Providing experience in the process of taking research prototypes into licensed manufactured products.
Experience in this field includes working with and managing manufacturers builders and contractors of many disciplines. His approach is typically collaborative and open; believing that design delivers best results when it is not top-down or driven in a linear path towards realisation. His creative research is testimony to this philosophy.
